The greatest symbol of Easter is the egg, as it is a symbol of spring and new life. Easter eggs are painted, colored and decorated by girls and women.   There are many techniques to decorate your Easter eggs and they usually require a certain level of skill.   You can use bee's wax, straw, watercolors and picture stickers.   There are no limitations as long as you create a nice looking, colorful egg that you don't have to be ashamed of.   There are other symbols too: hare, lamb and chicken.   It is traditional to bake a live lamb at Easter, however as this can be a rather a cruel custom, real lamb is often replaced by baked gingerbread lamb.
Easter is celebrated each spring all over the world.   The date depends on the calendar.   Bunnies also symbolizes this holiday because they represent spring and the beginning of life.   Some activities we do at school are painting eggs in different colors, making Easter cards and making colored baskets to hold the eggs.   At home on Easter morning, we hunt for chocolate eggs that the Easter bunny has hidden.   Some people also get chocolate bunnies, jellybeans and cream eggs.
Easter Eggs were dyed in ancient times by Egyptians and Persians, who then exchanged them with friends.   It was in Mesopotamia that Christians first gave eggs to their friends at Easter to remind them of the resurrection of Jesus.
In addition to religious celebrations and observance of Easter, many people celebrate Easter with sweets and baked goods.   Eggs, a traditional symbol, are hard-boiled and dyed.   Easter candies of all shapes and sizes are bought, breads are baked and carefully decorated.   And in many homes, families gather for an elaborate Easter dinner.
However, most of us know that Easter isn't simply a commercial spring festival about dyeing and hiding eggs or wearing new spring attire.   Easter is the Christian observance of the crucifixion of Christ and his resurrection days later.   It is the central festival of all Christian church.

BIRDWATCHERS

Bird Watching at Songdo, Southwest Incheon, From April to May and again from September to October.
The center of the worlds breeding population of the Rakish and elegant CHINESE EGRET and SAUNDER'S GULL is here on Incheon's tidal-flats.   These include good numbers of highly attractive RUDDY SHELDUCK and a small numbers of RED-CROWNED CRANES in the north.
BIRDSKOREA
Junam Reservoirs- The most well-known birdwatching place in the country with many thousands of birds (and people coming to see them) throughout the winter, (close to Masan and Changwon), Junam provides free loan of telescopes and some assistance to look at the birds on the site.
Suncheon Bay-despite an increasing amount of development and road building schemes, it is still one of the most beautiful and natural estuaries in the country, with extensive reedbeds, tidal-flats and rice-fields.   The main bay is easily reached from the fast-growing city of Suncheon, but the flats stretching west towards Boelgyo are also worth checking carefully.   Pride of the place must go to the HOODED CRANES that arrive in October and stay through until March.   This is the most regular site for them in Korea and only the easy place to see them in the world away from Izumi in Japan.
From my desk..
Caption: My baby girl came home one day from school with a handful of chicks, she said her friend bought her a pair and she wants to have them as a pet, I said "No!..we don't have any room for them."   and she said, "What about that red hat hanging on the wall, you're not using that for years maybe I could let them stay there."   I was dumb for a while...
later then, explained to her that we already have four paddy birds, 2 rabbits, 2 hamsters and a family of fish to feed, we can't afford to house all these pets specially in winter when it grows to be big chicken, but she begs me (with tears) and promised to take care of the chicks if I'll just let her.   anyway, to make the story short, almost everyday when she comes home from school, I could see the chicks hanging on the wall inside my red hat.
