She'll be here for two weeks, and though responsibilities kept her busy everyday, I know she enjoyed her stay here in the country of the morning calm.
It is really a very small world for Ms. Katz and me.
It is just by coincidence that we eventually met at CECO.
Few months back I was inquiring through her through the internet mail about how I could have a chance to join Ramsar. Mirielle is the executive secretary to Ramsar so I directly wrote to her, stating my cause and as concerned about our global problems and the treat to our generation left me wondering how I could have a chance to join or contribute and share at least a little of my knowledge, as being raised in the countryside and have been living near the wetlands and lakes during my younger days I could say, I have something to share for the environmental problems...well, she gave me some phone numbers to contact, she send me pictures too with some friends and she said she came to korea just for a quick visit, she visited Kyungju.
Then, the convention started at once but I didn't get the chance to be at least even to volunteer... Anyway, to make the story short...
I was not really sure if that was her that day sitting next to us at the restaurant dining, I hesitated at first but finally made my move to ask ... without formal introduction we were talking to each other that instant..she was very surprised as I am to see us sitting next to each other ... we chatted and took pictures too, it was very brief and quick but very unusual encounter though...
What a small wonderful world isn't it...
